With Dark Mofo wrapping up in Tassie last week we once again find ourselves daydreaming about how awesome something similar could be in Western Australia. Imagine somewhere like Denmark or Augusta taken over for a week by witches, winter feasts, wacky art installations, solstice swims, intriguing music acts and more…

Until that pagan-fuelled day arrives, this weekend you can at least find a mini version at Melville Midwinter (including an ice cold river dip to finish), and while it’s a little more foodie focused, Cabin Fever is also on the horizon down south.
