Do you host or throw parties or events in Perth? Are you looking for free ways to plug it? Did you know we have an events calendar you can upload things to for free!? Our what’s on calendar gets viewed by thousands every week, and we feel like it’s a pretty handy little place to find out what’s going on around town every day.
Why am I telling you this right now? People email us every day asking for ways to promote events for free, I’m tired of telling them the same thing every time, and I refuse to use AI to write emails for me… So hopefully a few of those guilty parties are reading this right now. And more importantly — the more the merrier, so if you’ve got something fun/cool/interesting coming up, get it in there!

HOMES
A dreamy, colour-drenched Palmyra reno is up for grabs
Cosy, colour-drenched corners with flickering fireplaces, tranquil bedrooms surrounded by picture-book windows and a rustic backyard straight from Joshua Tree…
If that sounds like a dreamy mishmash of homes straight from social media – well, you’re not entirely wrong. 51 Cleopatra Street, Palmyra is a home we’ve seen snippets all over our social feeds, thanks to current owners Home Husbands.
The duo have lovingly renovated the three-bedroom character cottage over the past two and a half years – transforming the home with a commitment to layering colour, texture and plenty of personality. Not a drop of millennial grey or minimalist beige in sight!
Once a pile of sand and weeds, the front garden is enclosed by a winding timber fence – and inside, it’s a textural delight of trailing plants, steel sculptures and tiered garden beds, including the central bed clad in verdigris-hued tiles.
