Bit of negative chat about the Perth Bears announcement last week, to which we say, can’t we all, just for one, teeny tiny minute, maybe, perhaps, let ourselves get just a bit excited about something like a new sporting team in the State? As someone who isn’t a huge NRL fan, I can still sit back and say, ‘Hey that’s cool that Perth will have a team in the NRL’.

Not to mention they’re called the BEARS? AND they’re helping bring back a long-exiled club from the East Coast? Come to think of it, given the state of both our AFL teams at the moment, we are in the market for a code swap…
