A huge new weekly Sunday market is coming to Perth

Big fans of a weekend market in this office, so when we saw some post-ups for the Perth Trading Post around town we got a little bit excited. While there are many great smaller markets to visit, something on a larger scale closer to the city has been sorely lacking, and we can’t wait to see what it’s like in a few weeks.

Plus we’re excited to reveal the new team behind an iconic North Freo space as The Bridge House moves into the old Harvest spot, and stoked to hear that Perth will be hosting Day 1 of one of the most-anticipated Ashes series in history next summer!

On this day in 1898 the Perth Zoo opened with two lions and a tiger and early exhibits included a reptile house, bear caves and a guinea pig castle, which we assume was actually quite small.
