In line with our article below about this year’s AHA Awards For Excellence in hospitality, it’s worth shouting out Pinchos in Leederville, celebrating 12 years on the corner of Newcastle and Oxford this week. Our hospo scene can be a fickle beast, so to still be not only surviving, but thriving 12 years down the track means you’re absolutely doing something right — salud!

A fried chicken fave has risen from the ashes
Perhaps it was the spirit of spooky season passing through the city, but there’s more than one venue rising from the dead! As well as Honey’s return, fried chicken fanatic Drasko is also set to resurrect.
Closing the doors to their Mount Hawthorn restaurant in May, they’ve spent the last five-and-a-bit months scouring Perth for the perfect new spot – eventually landing on a huge new space at Village Green, Karawara.
