A Scarborough dream home shaped by sustainability

Plus a new stamp duty exemption for first WA home buyers, and more.

So we missed a major anniversary over the weekend - the great Perth hail storm was 15 years ago on March 22! WA’s most expensive natural disaster (over a billion dollars in claims came from it), there’s a good chance if you were here, you remember what you were doing at the time. Alongside Cott beach, long macs topped up and conti rolls, reminiscing on the 2010 hail storm is one of those quintessential Perth things.

We dare say it was also the beginning of Perth’s obsession with storms of any size, such was the trauma it wrought upon car dealerships and UWA’s stained glass windows.
