Well after some low energy newsletter intros over the past couple of days let me tell you I am positively fizzing on what’s looking like another gloriously warm winter’s Wednesday in Perth*.

The kind of day that’s perfect for a visit to Perth’s big new beer barn up in Brabham (which opened yesterday) — you can learn all about it below. Otherwise if you loved State of Origin AFL earlier this year we’ve got some good news for you; likewise if you always thought Lock Lane in Northbridge could do with a little bit of TLC; and even more-so if you like your country towns mostly powered by renewable energy.

*this said, a few drops of rain feel like they wouldn’t go astray at this point.

Brabham’s brand new family-friendly pub opens its doors

Perth’s north-east has just welcomed a new local, with the Brabham Hotel officially opening its doors yesterday.

The family-friendly pub will offer something for all ages across its substantial footprint, including a sprawling beer garden with outdoor playground, plus an indoor playroom next to the bistro – so the kids can stay entertained while you sit back and relax with a bevvy.

As well as a dedicated sports bar with big screens to catch all the action, you can also watch the game from the beer garden – or settle in for some live music sessions in the sunshine.
