Vintage Freo: Diving deep into the port city’s pre-loved treasure troves

When it comes to vintage shopping, Fremantle has it all mapped out.

The port city has long been a popular destination for thrifty vintage shoppers, but the current critical mass of pre-loved outlets has taken that to a new level. Along with the old guard that have been bringing thrift store junkies to Fremantle for years, like St Pat’s, Red Cross Shop, and Good Sammies, there is now a variety of stores offering a more curated collection of pre-loved treasures.

Published by the Fremantle Visitor Centre, The Freo Pre-Loved Trail offers a guide to the locations of 26 of the best pre-loved stores the city has to offer. Not only will the map direct you to the best places in town for second-hand books and records, but it also highlights some of the finest vintage clothing stores you will find this side of Silver Lake or Echo Park.
