Doubleview’s nourishing new homestyle takeaway shop

Plus a love letter to Freo's West End.

You may have noticed a little bit of WAFL coverage popping up around these parts, and if you’re wondering what it’s all about - it’s pretty simple! Perth is a footy mad town, and rather than trying to run with the big dogs (and talk about Harley Reid every five minutes), we figure we’re better placed to give the local competition a bit of love.

More specifically, the emerging talent coming up through the WAFL system, like Cody Curtin, who you’ll learn about below. We’ve got a sharp new footy writer (who also plays) getting amongst it, and we’re excited to follow the future of footy in this State, while also shining a light on the country’s best league!

Of course there’s plenty of the usual good oil, including a sneak peek with the team behind Light Years (opening this weekend), our fave new homestyle takeaway joint in Doubleview, and a beautiful little insight into living the good life in Freo’s West End.
