I would love to give you a long and heartfelt introduction to what looks like another warm weekend, but my laptop is quite literally overheating as I type this. Have a lovely weekend whatever you end up doing — whether it’s fun times at FRINGE WORLD, Perth Festival’s launch weekend, or just trying to stay cool.

Molly’s Irish Pub opens in Vic Park next week

Two years after opening their Highgate Irish pub, the team from Molly’s are getting ready to swing open the doors to their second location.

Opening on Friday, February 13, the sister venue will be opening at 774 Albany Highway, East Victoria Park – the former Palace Arcade site – and will bring the same Emerald Isle charm that has made Molly’s Highgate so immediately beloved.

“Our name comes from the Irish folklore figure Molly Malone, she represents hard work and tenacity, and her spirit reminds us of our mothers and our sisters,” says Molly’s co-owner and Donegal native Niall Tolan.

“That warm, Irish hospitality is the backbone of what we do, it’s in our blood and we want to carry that tradition through to our second location in Victoria Park.”
