Hike followed by a pint? Noble Falls is a ripper

Plus Perth's best vintage shops and more weekend to do's.

Couple of shoutouts to kick off the Friday newsletter: First up the West Coast Eagles Women’s team for kicking off their 2025 campaign with a win last night. Yes it’s only one game, but we’re bullish on Daisy Pearce’s team in her second year at the helm. Next goes to the Freo Dockers ahead of Nat Fyfe’s potentially final home game ever tonight against Brissy - their biggest of the year. We hope they get the job done in front of a full house at Optus, meaning there’ll be a few more games to go for the men in purple.

And finally a little shoutout to everyone who entered our movie ticket giveaway yesterday - looks like we’re gonna have to make it a regular thing! We’ll be in touch first thing next week once we’ve collated everyone’s responses.

In other news it’s Friday, and a sunny Saturday awaits. If you’re planning on getting out and about, may we offer some suggestions: Vintage shop exploring, a progressive dining experience in Freo, or if you fancy hitting the road, a trip to Noble Falls for a bushwalk and a beer (just one, if you’re driving).
