Inside an antique dealer's cathedral-esque Perth Hills home
Plus we found another south west pub for sale!
It’s a bit of an accidentally south west-heavy edition of this today’s newsletter, so apologies to the “it’s called PERTH is OK! not WA is OK!” crowd (there’s a few of you). Whilst our little publication celebrates all things all over this great state, ‘Western Australia is Really Good!’ doesn’t have quite the same ring to it.
Plus why wouldn’t we share incredibly cool news about a tiny robotic door that only lets through endangered native wildlife? Or the potential of escaping the big smoke to own a quaint country pub? Picking your own Pink Lady apples in the delightful surrounds of Donnybrook? Magical!

The best things to do around Perth this weekend
Tomorrow notwithstanding, the weather is finally starting to cool down a bit, and the going’s on around town also feel like they’re taking a little breather. Not to say there’s nothing on, it is Mother’s Day on Sunday after all!
CCAPTUREDD‘Gram of the WeekIf you haven’t checked out the Blackwall Reach trail yet we highly recommend adding it to the list. The 2.5km loop has some of the best views of the Swan River and has a number of walk and cycle pathways. Generally considered an easy loop, it takes roughly 35-40 minutes to complete. |
