A fun little look back on what was the hottest story of 2022 — a massive F1-spec race track and luxury sports club slated for Bindoon that just never… really… eventuated. Big announcements like this do come and go from time to time, but Club Moolia even began construction before seemingly fizzling out in recent years.
While the same fate may not befall the Ocean Beach Hotel redevelopment, it looks like that will be delayed for a few more years — so you’ve still got plenty of time for more sunset pints in the front bar. And further down in today’s news you can meet Cara AKA DJ Incredable, who is hosting a disability-friendly disco next month to help bring people together and build friendships within the community.
Finally, the WAFL Grand Final details have been released, there’s a bit of what’s on action for the weekend and, if you’ve got Instagram, a sneak peek at some of the incredible costumes we caught at Balingup Medieval Carnival last weekend.
