Happy Friday, friends! And what a Friday it is…
It was way back in 2023 when we reported about the sad, sudden closure of Freo’s Old Shanghai – and we were absolutely inundated with stories from heartbroken Freo locals. I even had old high school friends I hadn’t seen in years message me out of the blue, devastated by the news!
So now, I’m extra happy to report that after months of peering into Old Shanghai’s windows every time I was in the area (please pardon the nose imprints on the glass), the Freo food court has finally been reborn anew.
I’ll be balancing out my forecasted increase in noodle consumption with a few free workouts – desperately clinging onto those “health is wealth” 2026 resolutions. Intentions count for something, right?
