Some days the intros come easy, sometimes they don’t, and today falls under the second category so I’ll defer straight to the newsletter below.
There you’ll find some delicious news for fans of Christo’s big burgers; Oz Comic-Con’s return to Perth next month; some last minute Valentine’s options if you need ‘em; and a chat with the gang at House of Honeys, who recently lost their entire Insta-following for no apparent reason.

Christo’s expands with two new locations
Landsdale spot Christo’s have become a cult favourite (we know, it’s an overused term – but really!) for their American-style smashburgers, fried chicken, top-tier chips and signature sauce (and those great value Blaze Boxes).
October saw them expand to a second location in Banksia Grove, with another location hot on its heels opening its doors over the weekend. Located at Newpark Girrawheen, they’ll be serving up the full range of Christo’s signatures (including their fro-yo, recently added to Banksia Grove as well) from its bright red and yellow shopfront.

House of Honeys: Perth’s feel-good adult dance studio built on confidence, community and fun
Having recently lost their entire Instagram page following for no reason (thanks Meta!), we thought it was a great time to introduce you to House of Honeys (chuck ’em a follow here)…
If the idea of walking into a dance class as an adult feels a little intimidating, House of Honeys was created with you in mind.
Based in West Perth, the adult-only dance studio specialises in beginner-friendly commercial jazz and heels classes — a niche that founders Hayley and Claudia say was noticeably missing from the local dance scene.
“We found Perth didn’t really have many dance classes just for adults, especially for beginner adults,” they tell us. “We wanted a place where you could feel comfortable starting again.”
