Perth’s best wine courtyards for sips and snacks

Plus a few fun tips for the weekend ahead.

Weather chat moratorium lifted (this is my intro and I can do what I want), can we stop for a second and ponder why at the start of spring it always seems to be bright and sunny during the week and then the rains return just in time for the weekend? Is this just confirmation bias or do the weather gods actually have a sick sense of humour?

I asked intrepid weatherman Chad GePTeau who had this to say: “Short answer: you’re not imagining it — at least in September 2024, Perth really did cop more rain on weekends than weekdays. One year isn’t proof of a long-term “weekend curse”, but it shows how the pattern can happen.”

Ahhh Chad, always happy to confirm our bias… Anyway have a great weekend and we’ll see you Monday.
