Australian music icons The Avalanches to close Perth Festival 2027
Perth Festival has given us an early taste of its 2027 program this morning, with legendary Australian music outfit The Avalanches closing out next year’s festival at East Perth Power Station.
The internationally acclaimed band will perform at the riverside venue on Sunday 28 February, bringing tracks from their new album No Bad Memories (out October 16) alongside highlights from across their storied career.
The announcement forms part of the first wave of Perth Festival 2027 programming, which also includes the Australian-exclusive season of large-scale theatrical production ROHTKO and a revival of landmark visual opera OPERATION:ORFEO.
