What a lovely surprise it was to find an email in the old inbox this morning letting us know that while our Fatboy Slim news was appreciated on Monday, there’s actually a LOT more to the story… Three more shows, in fact, as Melbourne’s Palace Foreshore makes its way west for the first time, taking over the Esplanade in Fremantle and bringing some more big-time acts over February and March next year.

A huge new outdoor music series is coming to Freo next year
Fremantle is getting a new outdoor music series in 2027, with Palace Foreshore set to take over Esplanade Park for four headline shows across two weekends in February and March.
The series is an expansion of Melbourne’s Palace Foreshore, which has turned St Kilda’s foreshore into a summer live music precinct in recent years, hosting acts including Grace Jones, Fontaines D.C., The Streets, De La Soul, Denzel Curry, The Kooks, MARINA, Pendulum and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.
Its first trip west will feature four major headline events, with three more artists scheduled to be announced throughout September, and one we already shared with you on Monday…
