Perth is OK!

Another day, another whale carcass washing up on a Perth beach (which has been removed by the way). And, purely by accident we assure you, this week we decided to update our swimming holes article. So if you really need to go for a swim this weekend, may we point you in that direction and out of the ocean for a few days…

Staying inland, as Morley Galleria gets closer to its She’s All That final form, Jamie takes a look at our booming shopping centre scene after many thought they’d become ghost towns not 10 years ago. Consider this your trigger warning if you’ve ever accidentally found yourself in the Karrinyup Shopping Centre car park at 10am on a Saturday morning.

And finally, if you love this State as much as we do, you’ll be stoked to hear the upcoming WA Day festival has expanded across not one, but two parks, over two days later next month — get all the deets below.

Take a dip in the best swimming holes close to Perth

We love our beaches in Perth, and as the weather starts to warm up the lure is oh-so-tempting. Sometimes though you can’t get down early enough to beat the pesky sea breeze, or perhaps you’re just not feeling the sand between your toes today – fortunately there are plenty of inland swimming holes, lakes and rivers just begging for exploration.
