Happy Halloween week to all who celebrate. We’ll be digging back through our spooky archives all week for a bit of fun — starting with today’s list of Perth’s spooky urban legends! If you’ve got any good ones we missed let us know.
In regular programming: matcha fans have a new place to visit in the CBD which, judging by the lines we walked past a few times last week, plenty of you have already discovered. Plus with news of a proposed 24-storey apartment tower development, is Scarborough finally entering its Gold Coast era? And Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre launched an awesome new creative hub last week — we stopped by to get all the details from a couple of our fave WA musos.

That includes the brand new Matchérie, now softly open in Shafto Lane.
And while the café is new, it’s the permanent home of the pop up and retail brand of the same name – which has been appearing at farmers markets and events across Perth for the past year…
