Another very busy newsletter today — as cliché as it is to say, things are definitely heating up ‘round here 😅.
This week we got a render-rific look at what Perth Airport may look like by 2031, with all the major terminals in the same location — a crazy notion, to be sure. Plus, the Surf Life Saving Championships are headed back to the west in 2028, Mission Australia is looking for some Christmas Day lunch volunteers, balcony solar panels are on the cards for West Aussies living in apartments, and I had a crack at Food News this week while Sally takes a few weeks off.
Oh, and there are two giveaways to get amongst below — one for the bass lovers and one for the book lovers.

NEWS
First look at the massive new terminal set to reshape Perth Airport
Perth Airport has unveiled new designs for its multibillion-dollar terminal, offering a glimpse of what the airport could look like by 2031.
The proposed 159,000 sqm terminal – roughly the size of nine AFL ovals – will bring domestic and international commercial flights together in one precinct.
Currently, Perth Airport is split between two separate terminal precincts.
The new 22-gate terminal will consolidate commercial flight operations, removing the need for passengers to travel between the airport’s two precincts when catching connecting flights.
