First it was super market checkouts, then it was…something else I don’t have the time/energy to look up (or try and remember), and now they’re expecting us to pour our own beers?! That’s the plan for Ferment at The Wembley. And while the old-man-yelling-at-cloud in me is sceptical, the brains behind it make a pretty good case for it.

Throwback Thursday

On almost this day (July 19 to be exact) in 1958, the #66 took its final journey as Perth’s last electric tram.

Here it is beginning its swan song from the Barrack Street Jetty, flanked by a crowd of on-lookers and a light horse brigade for some reason.
