Is it just us, or is that weird weather thing happening again? Last winter we were bemoaning the seemingly rather consistent phenomena of sunshine and clear skies during the week, only to be followed by rain on the weekends.

And lately it feels like it’s happening in reverse, with warm (okay maybe a bit too warm yesterday) weather during the week, followed by cooler, windy weekends. While said cooler weather is indeed welcome, so too would the opportunity to enjoy the heat down at the beach instead of in the office.

Much to ponder indeed…

Send noods: Qin’s is now open in the CBD

The arrival of Qin’s Lanzhou Beef Noodle’s first East Vic Park store back in 2023 caused quite the stir – and since then, they’ve rapidly expanded to include locations in Northbridge, Willetton, Carousel and Morley.

As city slickers ourselves, we’re delighted to report that their new CBD store is officially open at 142 Murray Street. To celebrate, they’ve been giving away free bowls of their signature beef noodles from February 23-26 (last day is today!), between 11am-1.30pm or 5pm-7.30pm.

Some of the best wineries around Margaret River

Just a few hours south of our fair city lies one of the world’s most heralded winery regions in Margaret River.

And there’s HEAPS of delights to be found. So many, that perhaps it can feel a little daunting when it comes to picking places.

Well here at Perth Is OK! we’re in the business of helping you make the tough decisions – below we’ve compiled a list of some of our favourite stops around Margaret River and the south west region.

It’s by no means a definitive list (exploring and taking chances is half the fun!), and we’ve tried to look at a variety of places to suit different occasions:
