Welcome to the Thunderdome!
I joked yesterday about the future being here, complete with flying ferries… But if we’re going for futuristic, can we go for more of a fun Jetsons kinda vibe rather than Mad Max-style fuel wars?
Here’s hoping we don’t see any war rigs loaded with guzzoline rumbling down St Georges Terrace anytime soon – although it might be fun to imagine which Perthonality could be our very own Immortan Joe?

Have a good weekend – and good luck out there!

The best things to do in Bremer Bay
Known and adored for its white squeaky sand, crystal-clear waters and rugged landscapes, Bremer Bay is one of Western Australia’s most isolated, yet scenic holiday destinations.
The destination is the ideal place to enjoy a little oceanside rest and recovery, or a healthy dose of exploration and adventure. Perched between Albany and Esperance, the coastal town in Western Australia’s south lies 500km southwest of Perth, around a 5-hour and 15-minute drive away.
Whether you’re partial to cruising coastlines in search of the perfect break, fiend for a local brewery, a wildlife enthusiast or lover of all thing’s nature, Bremer Bay has it all:

HOMES
A look inside an architecturally-designed Nedlands home that combines Japanese tradition with German sustainability
We first spotted this Nedlands home a couple of years ago, we were immediately drawn in. Happily, it’s just hit the market – which is the perfect excuse to delve inside!
Located at 92A Kingsway, it draws from a variety of influences – yet is confidently materialised with clarity and warmth, designed by bi-coastal architectural firm Ewert Leaf
Almost entirely constructed from cross-laminated timber, the three-storey home was framed up in less than a week, and constructed fully in just 10 months – also gaining Passivhaus certification through its many sustainable measures.
