If we didn’t have one foot out the door towards the long weekend ahead already, this glorious spring sunshine certainly hasn’t helped. And it’s only Thursday. Perhaps we’re getting ahead of ourselves, or perhaps some of us have tomorrow off 👀
Regardless, the show must go on, and the on-ramp to a busy spring is really starting to go vertical. Freo’s delightful new hotel unveils its equally delightful new restaurant; Perth Festival unveils some stellar opening shows for 2026; the CBD unveils a spectacular new mural; and…we can’t keep saying unveil, so let’s just get on with it, shall we?

The Garde Hotel’s restaurant, Anglesea, opens in Freo
Back at the start of September, the long-awaited Garde Hotel opened in Fremantle – but they haven’t been relaxing! The hotel’s restaurant, Anglesea is now also serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week to both hotel guests and hungry locals.
