The Greatest Showman-inspired circus spectacular twirling into Perth

Plus General Public Food Co. is making moves in Marmion.

Can you hear that? It’s the sound of the Ashes kicking off tomorrow! I know most of you don’t care — it rates probably 2/10 on the office’s give-a-flying-focaccia scale as well — but I’ve got tomorrow off to attend day one and am catching a live cricket podcast show tonight, all while very much enjoying some cricket nuffy chat with my barber yesterday (who’s also going to the Boxing Day test, lucky bugger).

For the rest of you, don’t worry there’s only some cricket chat below, along with another triple-stacked edition of food news, some fun little bike tour news down in Mandurah, and a very recognisable South Perth locale’s redevelopment is open for public comment until Monday.

Now, they’re heading north – with a new General Public outpost set to open in Marmion later this month, offering more of those relaxed, family-focused vibes and plenty of sourdough pizza from November 27.
