Not gonna lie, bit of a kick in the teeth to hear about one of Fremantle’s longest running live music venues facing the threat of closure on account of a new development next door. We’re all for new hotels encouraging tourism and what-not, but as one of Freo’s finest, Ningaloo Records, put it when we asked him about it in the article below: “What’s the point of another hotel in a dead city?”
