The Perth food truck serving up hand-made omusubi
Made by a mother-daughter duo no less!
Big weekend in old P-town, with lots of ghoulish costumes running around the city on Friday night, followed by some grand old rock’n’roll with Metallica on Saturday. Or maybe you were like the rest of my neighbourhood and got stuck into some serious spring cleaning — if the whipper snippers and vacuum cleaners were anything to go by.
And a little shout-out to the Eagles’ AFLW team, who will be playing their first ever final next weekend! (Commiserations also to the Dockers Women’s team, who gave it a red hot crack to get there themselves yesterday.)

Omusubi Natchan: The family-run Perth food truck serving hand-made omusubi with heart
Just last year, Natasha Scheffler was undertaking a 12 month stint working in Switzerland – and she really missed eating Japanese food.
Half Swiss and Japanese herself, and with a background in hospitality, she spent her time there dreaming about her favourite dishes – and just a few short months after returning home, the Perth local launched the market stall that proceeded to fill our feeds with delicious-looking rice balls and charming market scenes: Omusubi Natchan.
