This new trail near Perth is the perfect school holidays hike

Day one of the school hols (well technically day three) - how we all feeling out there? Let us throw a few options at you below! You can check out heaps of great spots for families around Freo when it comes to eating and drinking, or if you’re city ways you could always check out one of the many cool events happening at Boorloo Heritage Festival (we’ve highlighted the free exhibition documenting Perth’s abandoned buildings down in Carillon City).
And finally, if some fresh air in nature is more your speed, there’s a new-ish trail in John Forrest National Park that’s more geared towards littler legs than its bigger sibling.
