triple j's One Night Stand is headed back to WA this May!

Plus a few hot tips for another warm weekend ahead.

When the news lately has felt dominated by music festivals cancelling left, right and centre, it’s been great to hear about new ones still coming our way. Yesterday’s announcement for a brand new festival in Freo over winter was exciting, and it’s awesome to see triple j’s all-ages event One Night Stand headed back to the west this May for the first time in almost 10 years.

It just so happens that Perth’s own long-running all-ages music festival, Hyperfest, is on this weekend and it has sold out! All-ages shows and exposing kids to live music as early as possible is vital to the future of the industry, so it’s encouraging to see. Maybe it is the kids who will save us?
