WA photographer’s project celebrates the healing power of the sea
Plus the UFC announces Perth date, and the Avon Descent is almost here.
Always great when we get to share inspiring local stories like that of surf and ocean photographer Amanda Battle, who has been capturing experiences of grief, trauma, illness and life transitions through her powerful project, Women of Water.
“The diversity of Western Australia’s coastline mirrors the diversity of women’s experiences – from the tropical magic of Exmouth to the rugged beauty of Yallingup. That’s exactly what Women of Water is about – celebrating every woman’s unique journey while recognising the common thread that connects us all through the ocean.”
Learn more about it below, along with a couple of sporting updates, good news for the Murujuga rock art, and of all things, a free Shrek screening in Leedy tonight!
