Sometimes work’s a bit of a grind, and sometimes you spend a Friday afternoon literally rolling down William Street after trying out too many dumpling spots for an article — that’s the duality of #content, we guess!

May your weekend be filled with dumplings (or something equally delicious), perhaps a smidge of vitamin D, and we’ll see ya on Monday.

We did the ultimate William Street dumpling crawl

Here at Perth is OK!, we’re all about hard-hitting, boots-on-the-ground journalism.

And to be honest, we were absolutely itching for an excuse to eat as many dumplings as a human could possibly consume in a single afternoon.

It’s a hard job, but someone’s gotta do it!

Inspiration struck when we saw Infatuation NYC undertake a dumpling crawl through Flushing, Queens – which was immediately and frenetically shared in our group chat. “Hang on,” we thought. “Don’t we have heaps of amazing dumpling spots all in one place? We should totally do our own version this!”

Who needs New York when you’ve got Northbridge? Move over Williamsburg, we’ve got William Street! (Feel free to submit any other bad jokes to us, we’re all ears.)

In the interest of pursuing deliciousness, our definition of dumplings is generous – we tried everything from jaozi, and wontons to xiao long bao, har gow and baozi, with a few sesame balls thrown in for good measure.
