What's open around Perth this Anzac Day

Plus one of our fave Lebanese restaurants opens a second location.

We often joke around the office about how public holidays seem to have their own special kind of stress these days. The mad rush to get everything squared away before one or - heaven forbid - two extra days off; the sense of dread that comes with an inbox filling up over that same period; the pressure to simultaneously make sure you get in some relaxation time over the holidays while also organising to catch up with all the friends and family you’ve neglected since the previous holiday experience… It’s all a bit mad, isn’t it?

With that in mind, as we turn the bend towards to the end of the school holidays, we really do hope you do get to enjoy the last long weekend for a little while. Whether that’s through some reflecting on those who’ve served as the sun comes up tomorrow morning, chucking the footy on the TV and putting your feet up on the couch, or one last hurrah with the kids before they go back to school next week.

EAT & DRINK

Little Lebanon’s charcoal chicken (and that intensely garlicky toum!) is one of our all-time death row meals – and has often been the salve to a late-night hunger. We’ll be indulging even more with the imminent arrival of Little Lebanon’s Vic Park outpost…
